Overview
Exact Time Viewer for Instagram (“the Extension”) is a Chrome browser extension that displays exact timestamps on Instagram pages. This policy explains what data the Extension accesses and how it is used.
Data collected
The Extension does not collect, transmit, or store any personal data.
The Extension does not send any information to external servers. All processing happens locally in your browser.
What the extension does access
Instagram page content (locally only)
The Extension reads the datetime attributes of timestamp elements on Instagram pages (instagram.com) in order to display them in a human-readable format. This data is read locally and never leaves your device.
Your display preferences
Your settings (timezone, time format, whether to show seconds, and display style) are saved locally using Chrome’s built-in chrome.storage.sync API. These preferences may sync across your own Chrome-signed-in devices via Google’s sync infrastructure, but are not accessible to the Extension developer.
Clipboard
When you use the “Copy exact timestamp” right-click menu item, the Extension writes a timestamp string to your clipboard. No clipboard data is read or transmitted.
Data sharing
The Extension developer does not receive, store, or share any data from users. No analytics, tracking, or advertising code is included in the Extension.

Changes to this policy
